Snare trouble from chad price's blog

I bought some Dakota line snares there 3/32 7x7 cable and there loaded.The trouble i'm having is there not wanting to fall correctly there wanting to drag and hang up.Doe's anyone have any suggestions  on what i could do to make them fall quick and not hang?

Might try loading them a bit. 3/32 can take a lot of loading to get them to fire faster.

Chad what snares are they? If they are the Ghost Rider snares they should come preloaded.
If the loops are twisted and this is not causing them to fire call Mark Steck with Dakota Line snare. He is one of the nicest of the many nice fellows we have in trapping.
If not loading a snare is very easy to do. If you look on youtube I believe there are a few videos on how to do it.

The snares i have are dakota line.I got to looking at my snare locks and it looked like the hole wasn't big enough for the cable to pass through smoothly.So i took one apart and drilled the hole just slightly bigger,now they work real good.
